Visa - Tibet
|
All tourists visiting Tibet
requires special Alien Travel Permit which they
obtain only by joining tours organized by recognized
Travel Agencies. Those who arrive in Kathmandu with
a Chinese visa issued by embassies in their
countries, will find it useless for entry into
Tibet. |

Visa Process:
we require at least 7 working days to process your
Tibet visa via Lhasa and at least 4 working days in
Kathmandu for the Chinese Embassy to handle your
passport. Chinese Embassy working hours are from
10:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs every Monday, Wednesday and
Friday. |

Re-entry Visa:
Nepal re-entry visa can be obtained upon arrival at
Kathmandu Airport or the Kodari Border on payment of
reentry visa fee along with a passport Photograph. |

Surcharge:
A surcharge of US $ 60.00 towards Tibet visa for
Canadian, Brazilian and Cameroon nationals and US $
40.00 for French, Dutch, British, Swiss and Belgian
nationals will be applicable. |

Urgent Visa:
3working days :US $ 10.00
Same Day. : US $30.00
No Surcharge is levied for visas processed in a
week’s time. |

05 Date of Issue and expiry.
06 Date of place of birth.
