Rolwaling (Tashi Lapcha Pass) Region - Nepal


Starting from Charikot Bazar of Dolkha district in Central Nepal, this trekking course combines Rolwaling and Khumbu valleys, providing lifetime experience of the beauty and remoteness of central and eastern Nepal along with diverse flora and fauna, and native cultures. Trekking through the remote settlements of Sherpa people, trekkers can enjoy the sceneries of high snowcapped peaks like Mt. Gaurishanker, Jugla Himal as well as pastures, green valleys and fields.  After leaving the Rolwaling valley and crossing Tashi Lapcha Pass, Mt. Everest region welcomes to exoplore the rooftop of the world.


Suggested itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu – Charikot. By bus. Day 02: Charikot – Singhate (950m.). Trek.  Day 03: Singhate – Gongar, (1400m.). Trek.  Day 04: Gongar – Simigaun, (2019m.). Trek. Day 05: Simigaun – Dugang, (2,800m.). Trek.  Day 06: Dugang – Beding (Buddhist Monastery. 3693m.). Trek. Day 07: Beding – Na Gaun, (4183m.). Trek. Day 08: Na Gaon.  Rest for acclimatization.  Day 09: Na Gaun – Chhukima. Trek. Day 10: Chhukima – Tashi Lapcha Basecamp (4470m.). Trek.  Day 11: Tashi Lapcha Basecamp –  Cave crossing Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,793m.). Trek.  Day 12: Cave – Thengpo. Trek. Day 13: Thengpo – Namche Bazaar (3440m.). Trek.  Day 14: Namche Bazaar – Phakding (2640m.). Trek.  Day 15: Phakding – Lukla (2866m.). Trek.  Day 16: Lukla – Kathmandu by flight.
Options from Namche Bazar
1. Trek to Gokyo Lake via Khumzung.   2. To Mt. Everst Basecamp from Namche Bazar.
