Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of
Lord Buddha, born in 623 B.C. A holy place
in southwest Terai (lowland) of Nepal (about
22 kilometers from Taulihawa Bazar), evokes
a kind of holy sentiment to the millions of
Buddhists all over the world -as do
Jerusalem to Christians and Mecca to
Muslims. It is situated 250 kilometers
southwest of Kathmandu. The broken Ashokan
pillar, remnants of an old monastery, images
of Buddha's mother Maya Devi, etc. are still
preserved in Lumbini.

Day 01. Kathmandu: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Transfer to hotel for check-in. Briefing on
the trip. Evening, an introductory
sightseeing trip to Downtown Kathmandu.
Day 02. Kathmandu to Lumbini (Bhairahawa): After breakfast,
drive (8 hours) or flight to (45 minutes)
Lumbini. Check in hotel. A brief sightseeing
trip to the surrounded area.
Day 03. Lumbini/Tilaurakot (Kapilvastu)/Lumbini: Early
breakfast at the hotel, visit Lumbini Garden
for worship, then drive to Tilaurakot (Kapilvastu)
covering major shrines such as: Gotihawa,
Niglihawa and Kundan.
Day 04. Lumbini to Kathmandu: Breakfast at the hotel, then
drive to Kathmandu. Visit Ramgram on the way
to Kathmandu. Arrival Kathmandu in the
evening. Check in hotel.
Day 05. Kathmandu: After breakfast, full day tour to the main
Buddhist Shrines situated in the Kathmandu
valley such as: Boudha Nath, Soyambhu Nath,
Maha Boudha and other shrines.
Day 06. Kathmandu to Kathmandu airport: After breakfast,
transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to
Home.

Pokhara valley is situated at an

Sarankot for mountain views. Return to
Pokhara. After lunch, sightseeing and
shopping near the lake side.
Day 05. Pokhara
to Lumbini: Drive (6 to 7 hours). Check in
hotel. A brief sightseeing trip to the
surrounded area.
Day 06.
Lumibini/Tilaurakot (Kapilvastu)/Lumbini:
Early breakfast at the hotel, visit Lumbini
Garden for worship, then drive to Tilaurakot
(Kapilvastu) covering major shrines such as:

Day 07. Lumbini
