Lumbini: The world heritage Site of
Religion. Lumbini is the sound birthplace of Lord
Siddhartha Gautam Buddha the Apostle of Compassion &
Non-Collide. He is not only the Light of Asia but the
Messenger of Universal Peace as well. The auspicious
garden of Lumbini is situated amidst the newly
established town of (Bhairahawa) Siddharthanagar in the
hot Terai plains of west Nepal. The broken Ashokan
pillars, holy remnants of an old Buddhist monastery,
divine images of the Buddha's mother Great Mayadevi, are
still well preserved here. Extensive excavation task is
being carried out with promising effects. The Buddhist
Monasteries: The monastery of the Buddhist temple is
built inside the surrounding complex of Lumbini in the
manner of modern Buddhist shrines in Nepal. The prayer
hall contains a big image of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha in
the medieval style. Colorful artistic murals decorated
the large walls.

Scheduled itinerary:
Day
01.
|
Arrival in Kathmandu: Transfer to hotel for check
in and briefing on the trip. An inductory
sightseeing trip to downtown Kathmandu or
explore around hotel depending on your flight
arrival. |

Day 02. |
Kathmandu to Lumbini: After breakfast, drive (7
to 8hours) to Lumbini. Lunch will be served at
Kurintar. Check in hotel in Lumbini. |
Day 03.
|
Having an early
morning breakfast, visit Lumbini Sacred Garden
for worship, then visit local monasteries on
tri-cycle. After lunch, drive to Kapilvastu (Tilaurikot).
Visit all the important shrines (Niglihawa,
Kundan and Gotihawa) in and around Kapilvastu.
Return to Lumbini for dinner and overnight
accommodation. |
Day 04.

Lumbini to
Kathmandu: Breakfast at hotel as usual, check
out from hotel and visit Devdaha and Ramgram.
Drive to Narayanghat Bazaar for lunch, then
drive to Kathmandu and check in hotel for
overnight accommodation and dinner. |

Day 05.
|
Kathmandu: Full day
sightseeing and pilgrimage tour to the main
Buddhist Shrines situated in and around
Kathmandu, such as: Boudhanath Stupa,
Soyambhunath Stupa Mahaboudha and Ashok Stupa in
Patan city. Evening, farewell dinner will be
served at typical Nepalese Restaurant along with
cultural show. |

Day 06. |
Transfer to airport: Departure from Kathmandu or make
extension as per your time-frame. |
