Lhasa:
The capital of Tibet Autonomous region and situated at the north bank of Kyichu river, a tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo river, Lhasa has history of more than 1300 years. Lhasa is the main politics, economy, culture and religious center for the Tibet Autonomous region. The attractions of this city (3650 meters) are the magnificent Potala Palace, former seat of the Dalai Lamas, presides over the city. Built in 1645 at the top of a hill, the palace contains a thousand rooms, 10,000 shrines and 200,000 religious statues. Besides, the famous Jhokhang temple, the Bhakor market, the Sera Monastery, the Drepung Monastery (the largest in Tibet) and the Norbulingkha are the major attractions of this ancient city.

Day 01. Kathmandu(1350m) to Lhasa(3650m): Transfer to Kathmandu Airport and check in flight to Lhasa, crossing the great himalayan range including Mt. Everest. Arrival at  Gonggar Airport and drive to Lhasa.

Day 02. Lhasa: Full day sightseeing. Visit The Potala Palace, Norbulinkha Palace and Jokhang Monastery.

Day 03: Lhasa: Full day sightseeing and shopping covering Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market.

Day 04. Lhasa to Gyangtse (3650m): Drive about 259km, crossing the Kamba La (4794m) and Karo La (5010m) pass via The Lake Yamdrok.

Day 05. Gyangtse to Shigatse (3900m): After breakfast, sightseeing around Gyangtse including Khumbun Stupa, Phalkor Monastery and Gyangtse Fort. After lunch, drive about 90km to Shigatse. Sightseeing trip to Tashilumpo Monastery and local typical Tibetan Market.

Day 06. Shigatse to Xegar (3900m): Drive to (Approx. 8hours).

Day 07. Xegar to Rombuk Monastery (4920m): Drive about 60km.

Day 08.  Rombuk Monastery to Mt. Everest Base Camp (5090m) and Tingri: About 2 hours excursion to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Drive (3hours) to Tingri for overnight accommodation.

Day 09. Tingri to Nyalum(3750m): Drive (214km) crossing The Lalung La (5082m) and Nyalum Pass (3800m).
Day 10. Nyalum to Kathmandu(1350m): Drive (123km) via Zhangmu crossing the Friendship Bridge at Tibet-Nepal Border.
Note: departing on Saturdays.
