Pokhara valley is
situated at an elevation of 950 meters,
about 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu(6 to
7 hours' drive or 35 minutes flight from
Kathmandu). One of the major tourist
destinations in the west Nepal. It is also
one of the most picturesque spots in Nepal.
Pokhara is a rare combination of the long
arrays of snow-capped peaks offering the
panoramic view of Dhaulagiri Peak, Annapurna
I Peak, Annapurna South Peak, Modi Peak,
Fishtail Peak, Annapurna III Peak, Annapurna
IV Peak, Annapurna II Peak, Lamjung Peak,
Himalchuli Peak, Manasalu Peak, Boudha Peak
Besides, crystal clear lakes, turbulent
rivers with deep gorges and picturesque
villages inhabited by friendly ethnic people
are the major attractions. Pokhara's
numerous lakes, known as Tals in Nepali
offer fishing, boating and swimming. |

Day 01. Kathmandu: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Transfer to hotel for check-in. Briefing on
the trip. Evening, an introductory
sightseeing trip to Downtown Kathmandu.
Day 02. Kathmandu to Pokhara. After breakfast, a
sightseeing trip to Soyambhu Nath (monkey
temple) and Boudha Nath. After lunch, drive
to (7 hours) Pokhara. Check in the hotel.
Day 03. Pokhara. Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Sarankot
Hill for mountain views and trek (about
3hours) to Pokhara. Return to hotel.
After lunch, sightseeing and shopping
exploring the lake side Bazar.
Day 04. Pokhara to Kathmandu. After breakfast at the hotel as
usual, drive to Kathmandu. Check in hotel.
Evening, at leisure or personal shopping.
Day 05. Kathmandu to Kathmandu airport. After breakfast,
transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to
Home.
