adventure lurks around every corner!
Adventure on the road is never short on the
beautiful Trans Himalayan drive, through
mountain, passes, promising a panorama of a
cultural and scenic diversity unsurpassable
anywhere. Pilgrimage to Mansarovar Lake and the
Holy Mt. Kailash claimed to be the apex of
the Hindu religious axis is also one of the
highest mountains in Tibet at 22,022 feet,
and Lake Mansarovar at 14,950 feet is said
to be the highest fresh water lake in the
world. Certainly it is difficult region to
reach due to the variable and extreme
weather conditions.
We begin
the tour by traveling to Kathmandu and
departing by road to the Nepal/Tibet border
town of Zhangmu where we initiate the
tour-trekking to Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar
Lake. |

the first day of the journey. After
breakfast we depart from Kathmandu
to China border by tourist coach. It
takes about 5 to 6 hours. |

proceed to Payang around 06:30 Am.

Payang to Mansarovar After
Breakfast we leave from Payang
around 08:00 Am, about 225 Km. This
is the first day stay at the bank of
the Mansarovar Lake. |

Drive to Chho-kue Gompa: Round
Mansarovar Lake by Jeep. This is the
special point to take a deep in
Manasarovar Lake and worship. Full
day, free for all spiritual
activities. |

Darchen (Tarchen.

We drive around an hour to Darchen
the base camp of Mt.Kailash Full day
is free for acclimatization / Visit
Serlung Monastery & Astapath, Nandi
Parbat. |

(4890m.) |
This is the first day of Mt. Kailash
circuit. We start our trekking .
Today we have to walk about 6 to 7
hours. Yak will carry our all goods
and equipment. |

Diraphuk to The day is very
sensitive and have to pass Dolma-La
High is 19500 Ft. above sea level.
In route we can visit Aurikunda but
it is more difficult to go and
touch. |

trekking at Darchen, drive to

Hundred Fifty Dollars for single room and single

Cost Includes (During the trip):
01. 3 nights/ hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with
breakfast (twin-sharing basis) before and after the
trip.
02. Sightseeing in Kathmandu with guide including
airport transfers upon arrival and departure.

Transportation by private jeep or microbus to and
from Tibet border (upon starting and ending the
trip).
04. All transportation in Tibet by Toyota Land
Cruiser (luxury model. Based on four persons in a
jeep) Japanese Jeep.
05. A supporting truck (for camping gears and staff)
in Tibet.
06. Entering border tax at Zangmu (Nepal-Tibet
border).
07. Permit for Mt. Kailash and applicable local
fees.
08. Entering fees for local Monasteries.
09. All applicable camping fees during the Kailash
round and Mansarovar.
10. Oxygen backup (in case of altitude sickness) or Gamov Bag.
11. All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner during
your trip in Tibet).
12. Tented accommodation during the trip.
13. Chinese visa fees and all necessary Tibet
permits.
14. All permits for our Nepali camping staff.
15. Yak porters during the Mt. Kailash circuit
trekking for 3
days.
16. Clean and heavy duty camping gears (tents,
sleeping bags, foam mattresses) along with cooking
equipments.
17. Nepali experience camping staff and kitchen
staff including a local Tibetan guide to support our
staff.

05. Nepal re-entry visa fee (worth: US$ 30 US
citizen. Free for Indian citizen) if you don't have
multiple visa. |
For Confirmation:
01. In order to confirm the trekking tour, we
require your passport details (photocopy of your
passport) at least 25 days before along with a
deposit amount of 15% in advance.
02. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we request you
to pay the remaining balance 85%.
03. In case of cancellation, the deposit amount is
not refundable. |
