Helambu: The trek to Helambu is one that remains open twelve months of the year. The access roads leading to the start of the route are the shortest from Kathmandu and no backtracking is necessary during this week-long walk. Though staying under 3,500 meters for the entire duration the views are as good and there are fewer trekkers than in the other popular trails.

Day 1. Kathmandu - Sundarijal by bus. Then trek to Chisapani. / Day 2. Chisapani - Mahakal. Trek. Day 3. Mahakal - Kiul Village. Trek. / Day 4. Kiul Village-Tarkegyang. Trek. / Day 5. Tarkegyang-Sermathang. Trek. / Day 6. Sermathang-Melambche. Trek. / Day 7. Melambhe-Kathmandu. By bus.
