 Ganesh Himal Fixed Departure - Nepal


Situated in central Nepal, the Ganesh Himal range can be seen from Kathmandu at its best.  The range combines Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III & Ganesh IV in the valley of the Budi Gandaki river in the west and Bhote Koshi river in the east. The mountain range represents the Elephant-headed God “the Ganesh”. a symbol of good luck initiating opportunities. This region is well known for its  rich flora and fauna including dense forests of oak, Pine, rhododendron. This trekking route provides breathtaking sceneries of high snow-capped mountains, glaciers as well as traditional Tamang villages. The bonus part of the trekking route is the view of Mt. Manaslu (8163m.), which can be seen from the the Singla Pass (4100m.).

Scheduled itinerary:
Day 01.
 

Arrival in Kathmandu: Transfer to hotel for check in and briefing on the trip. An introductory sightseeing trip to downtown Kathmandu or explore around hotel depending on your flight arrival.

Day 02.
 
Kathmandu: Guided sightseeing covering all the major sightseeing points in and around Kathmandu, covering the prominent landmarks such as: Soyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan, Kumari (the living goddess) Temple and Durbar Square Kathmandu.
Day 03. Kathmandu to Betrawati Bazar (630m.): By bus.
Day 04. Betrawati Bazar - Satdobate (1250m.): Trek.
Day 05. Satobate to Bhalche (1930m.): Trek.
Day 06. Bhalche to Gonga (2910m.): Trek.
Day 07. Gonga: Rest for acclimatization.
Day 08. Gonga to Rupchet Kharka (3634m.): Trek.
Day 09. Rupchet Kharka to Singla Pass (4100m.) and Chherma (2800m.): Trek.
Day 10. Cherma to Maygaon (2300m.): Trek.
Day 11. Maygaon to Katunje (1900m.): Trek.
Day 12. Katunje to Dhading (700m.):  Trek.
Day 13. Dhading to Kathmandu (1320m.): By bus. Check in hotel. Rest.
Day 14.
 
Kathmandu: After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur. Return to hotel for refreshment. Evening, sightseeing and shopping around downtown Kathmandu and Thamel Street.   
Day 15. Transfer to airport: Departure from Kathmandu or make extension as per your time-frame.

- Full day guided city sightseeing with private vehicle in Kathmandu and around Kathmandu before and after the trek.
