Your first trekking. Talk to us and we will help you choose a trek which will suit your level of fitness as well as your area of interest. And remember, prior walking experience in general counts for much less than good physical condition and motivation. Seasons. Winter (Nov-Feb) Winter arrives in Kathmandu by November. Low level treks within an elevation of 3500 m are best at this time of the year due to good sunny weather and very little rain. But one should avoid crossing high passes after the first week of December due to snow. Khumbu, north of Kathmandu (Both Helambu and Langtang), Pokhara Valley Trek, Ghorepani Circuit all good trips to be considered at this time of the year..... Detail

Fitness and health. All trekking demands a level of fitness that will enable person to put good day's walking, up hill and down. Most treks should not be taken to gain more than 300 meters to 500 meters in one day above 3000 meters. There should be plenty of time during the day to cover this distance, so the physical exertion though quite strenuous at times, is not sustained. The best preparation for trekking is cycling, swimming, jogging, squash, tennis and long walks involving up and down hill.....Detail
